Concept → design → commission → maintain
What we do

An electrical contractor with an engineering department.

Most contractors install to someone else's drawing. We design it, build it, program it, commission it — and then keep it running.

01

Electrical contracting & maintenance

Complete electrical design and construct, preventative maintenance programmes and reactive electrical services.

02

Automation & control systems

PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, B&R, Schneider, Omron), HMI development, SCADA integration and industrial networking.

03

Process & engineering design

Concept development, detailed design, equipment selection and system integration.

04

Electrical & instrumentation

Design and construct, EEHA installation and inspection, instrumentation installation and maintenance.

05

Renewable energy

Commercial solar (PV), battery storage and hybrid power — designed, integrated and monitored as one system.

06

Project management

End-to-end delivery — procurement, installation, commissioning and maintenance.

Systems expertise

The range is the point.

Buildings rarely need one trade. Because these sit under one roof, a cleanroom, a moving façade and its lighting control aren't three contractors and a coordination problem.

Maintenance & breakdown

The work that never makes the brochure.

Most of what we do isn't a ribbon-cutting — it's keeping things running. Preventative maintenance programmes across Western Australia, and breakdown support when something stops at the worst possible moment. We've run statewide fan maintenance since 2013 and reactive work for commercial property managers for years, because downtime is what our clients are really buying protection from.

After-hours support is available to clients on a maintenance programme, and to long-standing clients.

It's the main reason to be on one: when a board trips at 4am, you're not queued behind whoever rang first.

Case studies

Four jobs that show the range.

A validated pharmaceutical facility, a building that moves, a landmark that changes colour, and a relationship that's outlasted most of the industry.

Pharmaceutical · Cleanroom

Biocina

PERTH, WA · DESIGN → CONSTRUCT → VALIDATION
The challenge

A new Perth pharmaceutical facility needed a machine integrated into a validated cleanroom — plus environmental storage with temperature and humidity held inside tolerance. In a validated environment nothing is "near enough": every circuit, interlock and sensor has to be documented and provable.

What we did

Took the electrical, EEHA and E&I scope end to end — design, construct and validation — so the automation, the instrumentation and the compliance evidence came from one team rather than three.

Scope
  • Clean room lighting, power & dataELECTRICAL
  • PLC controls & HMIAUTOMATION
  • Instrumentation & calibrationE&I
  • Particle monitoringVALIDATED
  • Room pressure monitoringVALIDATED
  • Door interlocking & auto closersACCESS
  • Environmental storage automationTEMP + RH
  • Building Management SystemINTEGRATION
Outcome

Machine integration completed March 2024; environmental storage automation carried through to August 2024. One contractor accountable from concept to validation.

Kinetic façade · Architectural lighting

Hancock HQ

PERTH, WA · 2025–2026
The challenge

A façade that doesn't just sit there — it moves, and it carries light. That means actuators, controls and LED lighting behaving as one system, on a building the public looks at every day. Get it wrong and it's not a fault ticket, it's a landmark that doesn't work.

What we did

Installed and commissioned the kinetic façade and LED lighting — the mechanical actuation, the control system driving it, and the lighting content that runs across the petal array.

Scope
  • Kinetic façade actuationMECHANICAL
  • Control system & programmingAUTOMATION
  • LED lighting & contentARCHITECTURAL
  • Commissioning & maintenanceONGOING
Outcome

One of a portfolio of automated louvre and kinetic façade systems across Perth — including the WA Museum, Yagan Square, ECU, Murdoch, Curtin and the City of Fremantle.

Façade lighting · Public realm

Commonwealth Bank Building

FORREST PLACE, PERTH · PERMANENT INSTALLATION
The challenge

Light a heritage façade in the middle of Perth's busiest public square — permanently, and in a way that can change. Not a festival rig that comes down on Monday: a system that has to sit on the building, survive the weather, and be right every single night in front of everyone.

What we did

Installed the Color Kinetics façade lighting and programmed it. It runs a daily wash, and holds a library of scenes that get called up for national days — the building goes green and gold, or pink and white, without anyone climbing a ladder.

Scope
  • Color Kinetics luminairesARCHITECTURAL
  • Installation on heritage façadePUBLIC REALM
  • Scene programming & presetsCONTROLS
  • Weather-exposed installationPERMANENT
Outcome

A permanent system on one of Perth's most-looked-at buildings — and the same discipline that runs the kinetic façades at Hancock HQ, the WA Museum and Yagan Square.

Long-run partnership

Big Ass Fans

STATEWIDE WA · SINCE 2013 · PERTH TO ALBANY TO PORT HEDLAND
The challenge

A national manufacturer needed WA's certified installer — one partner covering airports, freight depots, museums, schools and distribution centres, often hundreds of kilometres apart, to the same standard every time. HVLS fans are deceptively hard: they're heavy, they hang over people, and they go in above live operations that can't stop for you.

What we did

Became that partner and stayed it for over a decade — hundreds of installs a year, from the Perth metro out to Albany and Port Hedland. Fourteen fans through Perth Airport. Heavy-duty units over the truck servicing pits at KS Freighters. The display halls at the Motor Museum of WA, conditioned without a metre of ductwork.

Scope
  • Perth Airport — 14 fansAVIATION
  • KS Freighters — servicing pitsTRANSPORT
  • Motor Museum of WACULTURAL
  • Statewide installationWA
  • Preventative maintenance programmeANNUAL
  • Commissioning & handoverDOCUMENTED
Outcome

A relationship running since 2013 — the kind you only keep by being reliable at distance, year after year.

Specialist systems

Three things most electricians send elsewhere.

Each one is a system, not a product — which is why they sit with the team that does the controls, not with a supplier who drops a box on site.

Renewable energy

Solar, battery & hybrid power

A battery system isn't panels on a roof — it's protection, management, changeover and monitoring. The controls engineering we already do every day, applied to energy.

  • Commercial solar PV
  • Battery storage & DC protection
  • Hybrid & off-grid power
  • Generator changeover & control
  • Power factor correction
  • Remote monitoring

Commercial EV charging

Charging for commercial and industrial sites — supplied, installed, maintained, managed and monetised. Drivers find, use, pay for and share charging from an app; you decide whether it's a service or a revenue line.

  • Supply & installation
  • Maintenance & management
  • Monetisation & billing
  • App-based driver access

UVC disinfection

UV Pure — air, surfaces & water

We assess, design, install and commission UVC disinfection safely — the automation and interlocking matter as much as the lamps, because UVC is only safe when it's controlled properly.

  • HVAC & duct disinfection
  • Common areas & work surfaces
  • Escalator handrails & conveyors
  • Chambers, luminaires & carts
  • Labs, food, transport & hospitality
